Livensa Living is a southern-European leader in the student living and flexible accommodation sector, with 20 operating assets, more than 8.000 in operation and another 2.000 under development.

In order to maximize our revenue, we need a leader that helps Livensa secure its top line targets, improving revenue management practices and guiding Company’s pricing strategy that maximize our premium product over competitors.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

 

HEALTH, SAFETY & COMPLIANCE

  • Top of your agenda at all times; practice an unrelenting approach to safety and welfare by adherence to any and all safety policies and processes in our organisation.
  • Develop an understanding within your respective function for all statutory and legal accountabilities we hold; furthermore, ensure that our teams understand why we perform such duties and encourage an environment where safety and welfare is never overlooked.
  • Create an environment whereby all team members feel confident and comfortable in raising any concerns about our properties or our practices as it relates to Health, Safety and welfare.
  • Ensure we hold ourselves to the highest standards as it relates to Customer data, consent and retention.

PEOPLE AND COMMUNICATION

  • Conduct yourself in line with our culture and values at all times, as a senior leader in our business.
  • Champion ideas among your team and the wider business, be open to fair critique of campaigns and messaging and engage those who are closest to our customer and experts in the sector.
  • Lead with your marketing expertise but ensure collaboration with colleagues on-site at each asset to roll out campaigns and gather feedback.

REVENUE MANAGEMENT

  • Creation and leadership of the company's Revenue Management department.
  • Management of rates and inventory of the assets, ensuring the best pricing policy at all times.
  • Responsible for maximizing revenues, market share and profit.
  • Market analysis and price review of the competition, in order to optimize incomes.
  • Development of an effective pricing strategy in the different channels for current establishments and new openings.
  • Study of the pick up and forecast with own production tables
  • Creation of statistics and monthly productions
  • Responsible to manage the Daily Pick up
  • Pricing and yield guidelines for rates, room types, and customer segments
  • Quotation and approval of the feasibility of group requests
  • Allotment management control (inventory management, guarantees, availability, etc.)
  • Responsible to realize the Market Analysis or Driving Market Share and Revenue Performance through proper pricing, market, and channel mix distribution .
  • Accomplish a regular report to the Management
  • Participation in different projects.


Your profile
PERSON SPECIFICATION
 
WHAT YOU HAVE
DONE BEFORE
  • 7-10 years’ experience in a revenue environment leading people
  • Experience of complex and high-volume rate management
  • Experience in the Higher Education, FMCG or Student Accommodation sector is highly preferable.
  • Advanced user of Microsoft Excel

  • This role will be based at our office in Madrid, although travel will be expected on a regular basis, recognizing our geographical presence.
  • This is a role of competing priorities and as a seasonal operation, there are times of year when workloads may spike, or unplanned incidents will take over. The role requires someone highly organised and resilient, and someone who is calm and pragmatic in their response to changes.
  • Despite solid planning, short-notice work may be required.
  • This role will be suited to someone who can operate effectively in a highly-varied environment.
